EMS PTA: Join us for the Back to School Family BBQ!
TODAY from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Location: Bus loop and school fields.
Come enjoy an evening of fun at EMS, the whole family is invited. There will be a food truck to purchase dinner or BYO. There will also be a truck with sweet treats for sale. Bring your blanket or chairs.
There will be an opportunity to learn more about the PTA, info on the New Families group, an opportunity to purchase EMS Gator Gear and more! Also, spirit wear will be on sale during all lunches today.

THE FIRST GSA MEETING OF THE YEAR WILL BE THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER, 12 AFTER SCHOOL !
The GSA club was created to spread awareness, become an ally and advocate for the LGTBQ+ community. The GSA meets on Thursdays afterschool until 3:45 PM in Room 110A . New members are always welcome! Please contact Mrs. Friedman with any questions! Michellee_

SPORTS INFORMATION:
Tryout/Fall Season Schedule: EMS 2024 FALL SPORTS SCHEDULE
*Students are expected to make ALL tryout days, unless otherwise directed by the coach. Students must be able to make ALL 4 days per week of practices/games/matches. This is a 4 day per week commitment (no Wednesdays), and students must be available until 5pm (possibly later for away game/match days). The games, matches and practices are in the process of being scheduled and you can check the live link above for updates.
**If a student does not own equipment for the given sport, it can be provided (other than cleats). Students can store their equipment in the locker room before school. All students should come with a water bottle, and dress accordingly for the weather. If you have any sports specific questions, please contact EMS Athletic Director, Craig Knop: Craig_Knop@greenwich.

THE EMS GIVE BACK CLUB: will meet on Wednesdays at 7:30 in the large cafeteria. 6th, 7th and 8th graders are welcome. See Mrs. Moore with questions.

EMS DRAMA CLUB AUDITION NOTICE:
Students in ALL GRADES are invited to audition for this year's musical: The Little Mermaid. An informational meeting will be held on Monday, September 9 after school in the auditorium from 3-4pm for those wishing to audition. We are also holding a movement call in the auditorium on Friday, September 13 from 3-4pm.
Auditions will be held after school on Monday, September 16, Tuesday, September 17 and Thursday, September 19. Students must sign up for an audition slot outside of Ms. Fama's Room 115. Informational packets are available outside Room 115 and also on Google Classroom. Join Classroom with the code: qlxfswh
