At Eastern Middle School, we believe that taking part in music is an essential part of a child's education - over half the school participates in one or more of our music ensembles! Any student with an interest in singing is welcome to join their grade level chorus. New students are welcome to join the choral program each year. Students interested in band or orchestra continue studies begun at the elementary school. Students wishing to begin an instrument at the middle school are encouraged to do so. There is no audition necessary to be a part of our grade level bands, choruses, or orchestras. Groups requiring auditions are Eastern Voices, String Ensemble and Jazz Band. Auditions take place at the beginning of each school year.
